The original ‘master’ bedroom, the Fogg is named after the home’s first owner. Winthrop Fogg was the town’s first pharmacist with a pharmacy located in South Freeport. We have found several medicine bottles with his store name on them in flea markets and antique shops. Fogg was married to Letitia MacMillan. They had three children who grew up in the house along with their uncle, Donald MacMillan.
This king room is decorated in shades of gray with maps of Freeport and a framed collection of old postcards on the walls. There is an antique dresser with distressed mirror and 2 comfy chairs for relaxing. Shaded by large maples, this room gets a wonderful late afternoon breeze in the summer.

Last night was the soundest, deepest, most relaxing night of sleep my wife and I have enjoyed in ages. What a charming, comfortable home you two have. - Boston, MA
